How old do you have to be to go on on holiday without a parent?

i am sixteen and i want to go on holiday this summer with a few friends

who are also 16? we want a party atmosphere like malia or ayia napa, is there anywhere we can go where we can stay in a hotel where you don't have to be at least 18?How old do you have to be to go on on holiday without a parent?
You can travel without parental consent at the age of 16 i believe, but a word of advice it is still very young and please don't be fooled by these always being safety in numbers. Stay alert and always plan and expect the unexpected, stay sensible and always always keep your drinks with you the whole time to avoid being drugged.

And don't lose control, stay alert and capable of handling yourself should a situation arise. I am not saying don't have any fun but just be sensible and always have back-up plans in case of emergency.

Have fun and stay safe, remember you are in a foreign country so familiarise yourself with the places where to seek help and never ever go with strangers ... Remember you are in a foreign land and you need to stay close to familiar surroundings. How old do you have to be to go on on holiday without a parent?
you should be able to stay in youth hostels, but if you want luxury, different hotels have different rules, so it's best to contact the hotel you want to stay at, some let you if you have parental permission.
There's nothing stopping you from travelling, but ask your travel agent to check with any hotel your thinking of booking as some of them have age restrictions.
