Also, if you don't qualify, there may be other programs such as Pre-K that are also free and your Head Start agency may be able to guide you to these programs as well. If you don't seem to be getting any help with this kind of information from your Head Start agency, call your local elementary school and ask if there is state-funded Pre-K, and ask how to find state-subsidized preschool and childcare in your area.
