I think my Mom hates my Dad seriously! They divorced when i was like 3 or 4 ( 24 now ). I get along with them both on different levels. My Dad is very sweet and spiritual. Im a lot like him and he is easier to talk to. My mom and my brother are just alike and at times the try to gang up on me and manipulate me when they want me to do something that i dont want to do. But the good thing about being around my mom and my brother is that we can always laugh and talk together. Its a lot of fun. They both always run to me when they are having a problem with one another. Its so funny. Also my little sister ( dads side ) is a Libra and my little brother ( moms side ) is a Pisces and i get along very well with both of them.

It's not ever your choice. The court made a decision based on what ever information they had. To change that custody agreement entails going back to court. I have only ever seen a reversal of custody when documented abuse has been involved. It sounds though that your father already has custody so changing that would put you where you don't want to be. What you seem to mean is that you don't want to have to see you mom on the days she has been granted visitation. If you had a son in the same circumstance what would your husbands reaction be. If he would pay if it was a son then he should be willing to pay his step-daughter. In these days of equality then there should be no difference between male and female. The other side of the coin is your daughter does it without being asked but does it just to help out, could be she's not looking to get paid.

sounds to me like you have a very special child, esp this day in age;; pat yourself on the back;; paying her is something that you guys need to consider;; if you do pay her, she may find that actually getting paid for the work she does can expand on a ';job';;; esp @ 16, %26amp; then also discuss the ';extras'; that she may require @ this age;; I would either pay her OR, if she asks for something she ';needs';, get it for her;; either that, or put some extra money away for her in a savings account (maybe for a car);; you have a child that for WHATEVER reason, does work around the house that is not asked of her %26amp; not expected of her;; YOU'VE GOT A GREAT KID!!!! esp @ 16!!
I'd certainly be thanking her so she knows it's appreciated and not gone unnoticed, although I wouldn't necessarily being paying her for it. If she needed help paying for an outfit or a night out with friends, then I'd give her some money. But she is a teenager and no doubt gets lots done for her around the home - washing, cooking, laundry etc So nothing wrong with her helping out to take off some the load!
Does she live there? If so then no, she should not be paid. Why would you PAY a child to live under the roof you provide and eat the foods you provide? If she wants to rake LET her rake if she wants to mow LET her mow. If after wards she asks for money tell her she can get paid if she offers the same services to neighbors. But she already has a roof over her head, food in her belly, a place to sleep, water for bathing in etc. She doesn't NEED payment.

Does he owe back child support? If he does then he will have to pay while the stepson is with you. If he owes alot, he will have to pay even after he turns 18. If not then you need to modify your existing child support order.

That's right honey,men don't seem to have any rights when it comes to child support issues-just pay,pay,pay no matter what! If she has custody it doesn't matter that he 's living w/you.She has custody - that's what matters....I know-it's so unfair.
The custodial is entitled to receive the child support until the court says to stop paying her. So if you want to stop the child support, go back to court. Otherwise, you are in violation of a court order.
The child support should be reduced. Not completely removed because she , in theory still has to maintain a household for when the child returns. Pay half and see what happens...that's what I would do.

1. if the man turned to be abuser u may not have ur parents on ur side to support u.


2. when u have children, u will not have ur mother on ur side helping u and looking for ur kids while u r busy or needing a free time.


3. u will always miss them in the events.


4. u will lose some of ur strength.


5. when any small fighting happens between u and the man, u will always remind him that u left ur parents for him, which will create more problems.


so try to convince ur parents to marry him is much better than leaving them.
