Where can I get birth control without parent consent in Virginia Beach?

I'm not looking for answers saying i'm too young to have sex or anything because I'm just curious and want to be safe in case something does happen between me and my boyfriendWhere can I get birth control without parent consent in Virginia Beach?

what i did was i complained about cramps and its a known fact that birth control helps them so my mom put me on them
For you to take birth control, consider that this is a drug that can cause cancer and other health problems plus the cost. How will you hide the medication from your parents?





I'm all for responsibility, and I think your right to consider it. Planned Parenthood and others I believe give condoms but not medication to people under age due to the risks involved.





What about ensuring your BF has protection even though this isn't 100% fool proof? But neither is birth control pills. I've had six children on 2 different forms of birth control and the last several using 3 forms of birth control without missing a pill.





At least condoms give more protection with STD and HIV whereas birth control pills don't offer anything at all with this problem.





I would try asking Planned Parenthood about educational information as to the best choices and they don't tell your parents.
If you think you may have sex sometime soon, then you need to get on birth control and get a supply of condoms as soon as possible. It takes hormonal birth control a few weeks to really become active within your body. So, if you get the pills tomorrow and have sex a few days from now, you won't actually be protected from pregnancy. The best protection if you are going to have sex would be to already have gone through one pack of the pills (if you choose pills) and use condoms correctly and consistently every single time you have sex.





You shouldn't need parental consent for birth control. You may want to call 1-800-230-PLAN and ask them to be sure.

I'd say the area should have planned parenthood, especially being that close to all those sailors!
i think you can go to any health clinic
if you are over the age of 16, clinics will get you on birth control without consent..


you can also buy condoms at any age ..anywhere.. just walk in the store, grab a box and pay at the checkout..you dont even have to tell them your name when buying condoms..





plus, condoms will help prevent STD's, birth contol will not...
. . . and in wanting to be 'safe' you choose NOT to ask your mother? Where is the logic in that? If there's one person in life who protects WITH her life. its a mother. Go to her.
well where i am from u need mommy to consent the prescription for birth control, but you can try planned parenthood.

Chelsea is right, when you are about to get your period cry and complain that you have horrible cramps, your mom will get concerned and take you to the gyno. the gyno is going to prescribe you birth control pills because that is what takes cramps away.

Your local planned parenthood, free health departmnet, or any doctor...medical information is private, and birth control doesn't require parental consent. At least not in my area.

well i lived in Virginia and i know you can go to the local health department on foxwood drive and get birth control without your parents knowing-it is completely confidential!!!and free!!don't let nobody talk s8!# about you wanting to be on bc!!you are smart for doing that!!and another FYI i got my through my high school-all i had to do was go to the school nurse and tell her i wanted to be on bc-every Tuesday the health department would come and get the girls that wanted to go-i don't know how your school is but that is just a suggestion!!!GOOD LUCK

just make him wear a condom and if he doesn't he is dumb, more than likely you ll probably forget to take the pill and then bang so where a condom cause you cant forget that
