How do you deal with a non-custodial parent who is mentally and verbal to the children during visitation?

I have custody of our 4 children (14, 12, 8 and 5). Divorced due to physical, mental and verbal abuse. The court system stinks and they will not help me. Obviously the kids do not understand the magnitude of their father's controlling behavior. what you do is go to the court system with your children, ask for supervised visits due to mental, and verbal abuse. you have to go to court and ask for supervised visits from a case worker that will keep your kids out of danger. this happened to a friend of mine and thats what she had to do.
