I'm currently a college freshmen and I pay instate tuition. Right now, I live at home, but next summer my family is moving out of state. When they move, I'm planning on changing my permanent address to that of a relative who lives in the same state. Because I am considered 'dependent', is it possible to lose instate tuition?
Does your instate status depend on your parent's status?
I think I've heard somewhere that school boards are thinking about deciding on basing instate tuitionon where your parents live if you're dependent to stop the people trying to get instate by using a rrelativesinformation.
