How do you say ';single parent'; in spanish?

Also, how do you say ';single mom';?How do you say ';single parent'; in spanish?
Single parent = Padre soltero

Single father = Padre soltero (too)

Single mom = madre solteraHow do you say ';single parent'; in spanish?
Madre soltera (single mom)

Papa soltero (single dad)

It really wouldn't make sense to say in spanish 'padre soltero' because padre means 'father'. Unless it's used in plural 'padres' but if it's plural then it cannot be single, can it?
single parent - Un pariente soltero (oon pah -ree-ehn-tay sole -teh - roe)

(say it quickly)

single mom Una madre soltera
Single Mother - Madre Soltera

Single Father - Padre Soltero

Single Parents (in general) - Padres Solteros
Padre soltero (single father)/Madre soltera (single mother)
single mom is madre soltera i think
