At what age IN MICHIGAN can i legally choose which parent i want to live full time with?

i am 13, almost 14 and i hate going to my moms every other weekend. what age do i have to be to choose which parent i want to live with full time in michigan? At what age IN MICHIGAN can i legally choose which parent i want to live full time with?
It's not ever your choice. The court made a decision based on what ever information they had. To change that custody agreement entails going back to court. I have only ever seen a reversal of custody when documented abuse has been involved. It sounds though that your father already has custody so changing that would put you where you don't want to be. What you seem to mean is that you don't want to have to see you mom on the days she has been granted visitation. She has been given that time with you as she has the legal right to see you.At what age IN MICHIGAN can i legally choose which parent i want to live full time with?
18 is the age when you get to decide. At any age below this, you will need to go to court, and your opinion will have some weight in the final decision, but in the end, it will always be what is in your best interest, which is not always what you really, really want.
