I'm an 18yearold male and the only care provider for my disabled parent. Must I sign up for Selective Service?

I know I must sign up, but how do I exempt from selective service on these terms?I'm an 18yearold male and the only care provider for my disabled parent. Must I sign up for Selective Service?
There is not a draft and already you look for a way to dodge. You can't they would put the old one with pro care and put you in the infantry.

You would man up there or die.

you have to register but you can whine and cry to them about you being unfit when the time comes if ever.I'm an 18yearold male and the only care provider for my disabled parent. Must I sign up for Selective Service?
i assume you mean the US?

i haven't heard anything abouta draft coming up..

i would think you have to sign up or call them and see what the alternative to apply for an exemption--

you have to sign up one way or another--just not signing up cnaget you in triuble

the best reference i can find is for conscientious objecters---

it says you do need to register--but if you shoud be claled--at taht time you apply for exemption
yes you must sign up. but not to worry. the military has been all volunteer since way back. sometime in either the 70's or 80's. you have nothing to worry about.
You'll be given a 3y exemption meaning only in outright war would they call you up.You'll get that because you are the only caregiver.Be sure to put that on paperwork.
