no i pray someone wld take my daughter for a bit miss her when gone though. havent been out in or had time with hubby in well over a year she wont stop at anyone house and is very hyper

You are not a bad parent for wanting a little time to yourself. This is normal and all parents feel this way from time to time. Being with children all day, everyday can become very stressful. You can actually be a better parent by having a little time to rest and regroup.....your patience will be better and your appreciation of your children's unique personalities will be enhanced. If you love them and make them secure in that knowledge, meet their physical, intellectual and emotional needs, are consistent and fair in your discipline, and spend quality time with them, then you have no reason to feel guilty for desiring an occasional break with peace and quiet.
No, you're normal. I think every parent gets irritated and tired out by their kids at times. I love my little brother and sister, but I love time without them too because it's peaceful and relaxing. There's nothing wrong with that. You're a fine parent.

My husband and i ';GO OUT';. about once a month or so. The kids aged 10 and 14 act like it is then end of the world. We enjoy our alone time. We go out with friends, but we are alone


You have to have some adult time or you will go crazy. I love my kids, but when date night comes up, i am really excited. You are not a bad parent, unless you abuse them or what not, enjoy the peace and quite, I find that our time away from the kids makes the time we spend with them better.

no well all need time out and this helps your children when they needs skills like cleaning cooking and etc helps children so they don't rely on you all their life so its good for both of you
