What to give my parent before he/she starts driving a truck?

My parent wants to drive a truck and he's leaving next Monday. Is there any gift I can give him that's necessary for him? I mean, he has a GPS already so I can't really buy it for him. He also has all the clothes and medicines...I'm thinking about buying him a book or something...What to give my parent before he/she starts driving a truck?

The GPS does not go by truck routes %26amp; the atlas also has a sections for restricted routes in each state, low clearance locations, weigh station locations plus info for each state about hazardous materials routes, permits, size limits, weight limits. etc..


Just make sure it is the Rand Mcnalley TRUCK atlas. They can be found at most major truck stops. Also, make sure you get the laminated one. It cost about $29.99, but it will last for years, the paper one will be about $10, but he will have it in shreds in a couple of months. Trust me he will use it ALOT !!! Even with GPS. If he wants to go drivin a semi in today's economy, get him an appointment with a good psychiatrist.


If he insists, get him a good CB and a satellite radio
book + driving + playing w/ a gps. ... probably not. music, ipod, somn to listen to cuz the radio sucks for long hauls unless he has sattelite
how about a picture of you and ur family so he can look at it if he misses you. buy him something like snacks or his favorite type of candy .........or get him a cd of his favorite band. hope this helped!
